e-Safety

E-Safety is about the protection of children whilst they are using the internet and digital technologies. This includes: risk-taking and inappropriate behaviour by children and young people; risks and inappropriate behaviour by others to children and young people; and illegal activity.

We teach our pupils how to stay safe online in a variety of ways. E-Safety is reinforced through our standard setting days at the beginning of each term and at the start of every lesson where digital technologies or the internet are used. We want to equip our children with the skills they need they need to keep themselves safe in an ever developing digital world.

Whilst our school strives to empower our pupils with the knowledge to stay safe, it is important that parents and carers also have a good awareness of the risks and dangers. The websites below are packed full of handy hints and tips on keeping your children safe online at home.
