Art Competition
Schools across Sheffield and beyond have been invited to submit their artwork to celebrate the Chinese New Year! Your task is to create an A4 sized picture of the Chinese Zodiac of the Year 2020 - the Rat. Mrs Taylor will be choosing the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners and submitting the artwork to Sheffield City Hall. First prize winners will be awarded a prize by the Lord Mayor of Sheffield. Second and third prize winners will also receive a prize from the Registration Desk.
The Sheffield Chinese New Year Show will be at Sheffield City Hall, Barkers Pool, S1 2JA from 4:00pm-6:45pm (Pre-Show and FREE admission) and 7:00pm-8:45pm (Main Show), Monday 27th January 2020. The competition is open to Y1-Y6 children and all artwork must be an original with the child's name, year group and school on the back. The deadline for the competition is Monday 13th January, so you have over a month to create some wonderful artwork! Just remember to put your full name and class at the back of your A4 artwork and hand it in to your class teacher. Good Luck!
