  • KS1 & KS2 Commonwealth Games Art Competition

    Fri 29 Apr 2022

We are looking for some fantastic artists who can design a Commonwealth Games Collage to reflect the 2022 Birmingham Games. The collage could show a range of sports, include some of the potential athletes or research the historic background of the Commonwealth Games – it’s entirely up to you! All you need to do is create your design on a piece of A3 card/paper and return it to your class teacher no later than Friday 13th May 2022.  Only three designs will be selected but you can work in a team or even with your best friend to create the design. The winning design will win a trophy for their school and their artwork will be displayed at Handsworth Grange Community Sports College.

  • School Streets

    Fri 22 Apr 2022

We have been absolutely delighted with the positive atmosphere outside of school this week, at the beginning and end of the day.  Our new School Street has really made a huge difference to the safety of our pupils and it's been a pleasure to hear so many lovely comments from you all. Please remember that you are able to use the car parks at The New Anglers or Asda between 8am-9am and 2.30pm-3.30pm.  If you do choose to use the surrounding roads, please avoid blocking driveways, parking on double yellow lines or parking directly on the pavements. Thank you for your support with this exciting new initiative.
