  • Scholastic Book Fair coming soon: design a book cover and win £5 to spend!

    Fri 19 May 2023

Our wonderful book fair will be back in school from 8th-15th June. Details will be available next week about the different ways you can pay and the timetable for year groups to visit!

In the meantime, children can be in with the chance of winning a £5 voucher to spend at the book fair by entering our competition, which is to design the world's best ever book cover. This can be for your favourite book or for a story you've made up yourself! Don't forget to include the title and the author.

Submit your book covers to your class teacher, who will pass them along to Miss Johnson. The Locution Leaders will be judging the top 5 entries!

The deadline to enter is Monday 5th June.

Green:          Bean bake and chips with baked beans or peas

Yellow:          Jacket potato with cheese, baked beans or tuna mayo

  • Fiesta Friday

    Fri 12 May 2023

On Friday 19th May, we will be celebrating Fiesta Friday; a celebration of Spain and Spanish culture. Children are encouraged to come to school wearing the colours of the Spanish flag (red and yellow) or anything reflecting the Spanish-speaking countries. Children will be learning about a Spanish festival, trying food from Spanish-speaking countries and trying out some traditional Flamenco dancing. If your child has any allergies or intolerances we need to be aware of, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
