  • School Streets

    Fri 25 Mar 2022

Please remember that when we return to school after the Easter holidays, the new road closure will be in place. Motor vehicles will not be permitted to enter the pedestrian zone between the dedicated times of 8 am to 9 am and 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm.

We have the support of the landlady of The New Anglers to use the car park behind the pub during these times - this is accessed via Richmond Park Close.  Parents and carers must NOT, however, use the smaller car park accessed via Richmond Park Road as this is her own private driveway.

The manager of Asda has also agreed to the temporary use of their car park. Parents and carers must not exceed the 3 hour parking limit.

If you choose to park on one of the surrounding roads, please don’t block driveways or park on double yellow lines. If you have to drive, try to set off five minutes earlier to allow time to walk the rest of the way to school.

  • HSA Easter Competition

    Fri 25 Mar 2022

This year, we thought we would try something different! How would you like to get creative over the Easter break and make a design on your own hard-boiled egg? This could be anything; the ideas are endless! Some examples include:

    -  your favourite character

    -  make a scene (this could be a farmyard with animals made from eggs)

    -  eggplosion

All entries are 50p each. You will have all of the Easter break to design them and all entries will need to be brought into school, along with the money in a named envelope, on Tuesday 19th or Wednesday 20th April.

Three lucky winners, from each year group, will be chosen on Friday 22nd April. The winners will win an Easter egg and there will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize to be won.

We cannot wait to see them!

  • Science Week

    Fri 11 Mar 2022

Next week is science week and children will be taking part in a variety of experiments. Some classes will get a visit from our science ambassadors and everyone will be learning about a different famous scientist.

It would be great if parents and carers ask their children what they have been learning about. Also,  we would love it if you were to do some science at home with your children and send a photo to your child’s class teachers or Lisa Watson to Tweet.

Here is a website with lots of ideas:

We will also be having a non-uniform day, where children can wear red for a voluntary donation of your choice; please can children bring this money into school on the day and give it to their class teacher.
